Explore our five new digital lesson plans, teacher developed and standards aligned. These lesson plans are built on primary sources, contain colorful hand outs and lesson extensions, and provide ideas for on-site learning! We also have a college guide, a resource guide for college instructors.

The Veterans Legacy Program Blog is a window into the programs and operations that make up the Legacy program. Together, students, teachers, and professors will research and commemorate the local legacy in each national cemetery. The legacy blog is comprised of histories from communities, celebrating how we come together to discover and learn about our nation's Veterans.

The Veterans Legacy Program is developing digital interactive maps to connect communities with the enshrined veterans' legacy at national cemeteries. The Beaufort, South Carolina and Riverside, California National Cemeteries are the first to pilot this wonderful interactive map program.

The National Park Service provides information on the national cemeteries that they serve. The American Battle Monuments Commission manages some of the most historically significant national cemeteries, and the Veterans History Project is a rich resource of our honored past.
