The FY 2012 Priority List consists of 104 total projects subject to 38 CFR 39. The current estimated value of the 104 projects is approximately $277 million. Included on the FY 2012 Priority List are 16 pending grant award (noted w/ *) that were approved after August 15, 2011. There are 61 ranked projects where the states or tribal governments have certified as meeting the requirement for certification of state or tribal government matching architectural and engineering (A&E) funds for group 1 status. A&E funds are necessary to fully develop a proposed project in a timely manner. Following grant award, the states or tribal governments will be fully reimbursed for all allowable A&E expenses associated with the project. The current estimated value of the 61 projects is approximately $152 million.

Note: In this group is a pre-application from the Pine Ridge Sioux Tribal Government and is ranked #17. Additionally, there are 43 ranked projects in group 2, where the states or tribal governments have not met the requirement for certification of state or tribal government matching A&E funds.

Note: Included in group 2 are 4 additional tribal government pre-applications. The estimated value of the group 2 projects is approximately $125 million, which are not eligible for funding consideration in FY 2012. All pending and new pre-applications will be reevaluated on August 15, 2012 and again ranked for the FY 2013 Priority List, in accordance with 38 CFR 39.
