NCA Interment Schedule Availability Report (April 2026)
The National Cemetery Administration (NCA) understands that our ability to accommodate requests for interment in a timely manner is critical to the Veterans and Veteran families we serve. In 2025, 96.98% of respondents to our annual national customer satisfaction survey were either very satisfied (88.20%) or somewhat satisfied (8.78%) with NCA's available dates and times offered for the scheduling of their committal services.
VA national cemeteries offer interments and committal services five days per week throughout the year, and most cemeteries generally have available dates and times for casketed and cremation interment options within three business days of a request to schedule. Families may wait longer if they desire to inter their loved one on a specific day of the week and/or at a specific time of day because another family may have already scheduled that specific interment time.
NCA is providing this interment schedule availability information for each of our cemeteries in one place and will do so every 30 days. The number depicted for each cemetery in the report is the number of business days until the first available interment that can be scheduled for specific interment options available. This is a point-in-time snapshot that is only accurate on the day that cemetery personnel analyzed their schedule for availability. For this April 2026 report, NCA cemeteries analysis was completed on March 23 through March 27. NCA is working on systems and processes which will allow additional capabilities to display interment scheduling availability and will implement those in future reports once those capabilities become available.
